Come on now

Hey, folks. We can't let Beth get back from her honeymoon only to see the same old post! What's going on out there? Am I the only one who's only working out twice per week? Down from three times?

Shannon's due in town on Nov 1 for a scheduled card night, followed by the bridge run on Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing her, Nicole and Shannon Hanley. Anyone want to meet up sometime Sunday?

Bernadette, if you email me the photos you took I'll get them up on a post. Or start a new post and click the photo icon to add.

HEELLLLOOOO...

I definitely think we should try to set something up for Sunday, November 2nd... how about birthday cake for Beth? =)

So yesterday I went to the ULTIMATE Health and Fitness expo to pick up my swag and bib # for the marathon. Coolest thing... the timing chip is the funky disposable tag for your shoe... looks like a luggage tag from the airline, but with a little micro chip...

SOOO many vendors to visit, so little time.... =) I am thinking of going back today (I went with my brother who was not in the mood to look at everything... probably because he is a punk and isn't running with anymore)

SOOOO, I am crazy nervous... I can't remember what it felt like for our first Philly tri, but I am guessing like this EXCEPT I think I am more worried about finishing the marathon. OWELL!

Hey Gang, the JV soccer season has ended (8-2-2) good season. The varsity girls have won their first playoff game against Cardinal Dougherty, next is Archbishop Wood on Monday (4:00). I have been running 35 to 40 miles per week preparing for the Philadelphia Marathon (Nov 23), short 5 to 8 mile runs during the week and a long run of 16 to 20 miles on the weekend. Sunday I am running the 25K Marathon tuneup that starts at Art Museum at 8:00. I biked to work today, morning temperature was 30 degrees leaving the house but I was prepared. Good ride.

Hope to see you all soon. Maybe the Maddens will have a party the weekend that Shannon is in town. Who could make it on Saturday night or suggest a better time.
