Grumblings and rumblings for September 17-23, 2007

Good day all! I hope that you were able to get out and enjoy the weekend's great weather. I apologize for not getting back to you all about this past Saturday's discussed workout, but I was out in Idaho for a meeting and did not get back until Saturday morning. Curious to know what Idaho looks like? Here is a picture.

Okay, that isn't really a picture of Idaho but of me golfing in St. Kitts when I took a vacation 3 years ago. Here is a picture of Idaho.

Not really all that exciting. As for this week's workout schedule, it does not look like I will be able to participate. I am leaving tomorrow for meetings in Rhode Island, I have an event on Thursday and plans for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

I know that there are a couple of people running in the Conshohocken FunFest 5k (http://www.conshyfunfest.com/). Continue to post items that you are planning to participate in/want to do so it gives slacker like me something to train for.

Ramble on...

That's Idaho? It looks like a desert!

I'm out for runs this week, too. I probably won't be able to do anything on Saturday morning either unless my football game is in the afternoon. Next week I'm off to the Outer Banks! :) I probably won't be able to do much until October.

Have a great week everyone!

Wahhhhh!
No actually I was worried about getting stuck on the expressway with Eagles fans tonight.

I'm going to stay local and run the track in Chesterbrook. I'll do the same 3 miles. (See if I tell you all I'm doing this the guilt will MAKE me do it!).

Any work out on Saturday am?

I'm feeling a little guilty but not enough to go out and run. Rode yesterday. Getting ready for MS 150. Won't be running this week. Let's try and get together on Saturday for a ride? Have a good week

Hey ladies - quick question...I lent my race belt to someone at She Rox but I don't remember who. Was it any of you? It was the Philly Tri belt. I know some people got one when we did our tri but they ran out before everyone got theirs. I was one of the lucky ones and got one. Now it's MIA and I've asked everyone else I could think of who I might have lent it to except you ladies. (I know it's probably a long shot...but it was worth a try.)

Beth,
Bernadette received a message from the blog that her invitation has expired. Can you help.

Sure. My work computer blocks me from the dashboard. I can only comment during the day, I can't post or make any changes. So I'll take care of it tonight at my home computer.

Sorry for the delayed response, but Idaho/Eastern Washington was fields and fields of cut wheat. The lack of trees (and people) was amazing. I have been a slacker these past two weeks being on the road but look forward to next week to pickup running/biking again. Beth-you are taking your bike/running shoes to the beach? I am sure that the water will be "refreshing". Do you need us all to meet you down there for a workout?

I am definitely taking my running shoes with me...and my rollerblades. If I get adventurous, then I'm taking my bike, too! Eric is convinced that we'll be out "training" every morning, but we'll see how long his motivation lasts. :)

Hello All...

I have missed the blog... school and work were CRAZY this week... BUT, I was thinking about all my workout buddies. Michealle, Nicole and I did the Endless Summer Triathlon today on Long Beach Island... WOW-- nothing like crazy choppy water and a wind wall to make a race fun!! Still a great race... I got to rack my bike with our very own Todd Wiley and go off in the same swim wave as him. AND... got to watch him blow by my punk a$$ on the second loop of the bike Finished first in my group... yeah! =)

I know the MS150 folks will be busy this coming weekend (Sept 29/30) but if other folks want to ride or run... let me know.
