Also, I am thinking of doing the Pine Barren Sprint triathlon on May 17th (1/2 mile swim, 24 mile bike and 4 mile run)... the site is about 35 miles from AC. Anyone else interested?

I think that doing tri's two weekends in a row is a bit much for myself. Add in the Broad Street the first weekend and that means almost every weekend would be a race. For a fine tuned athlete like yourself, that might not be a big deal. For an old fart like me, it is a different story.
As for a long run on Saturday, I will have to let you know. I don't have childcare for Saturday yet and may bring the girls to the Sunday morning ride if the weather is warm.
Maybe your calendar for May is different than mine... Broad Street is May 4th... 13 days later is the Pine Barren triathlon on May 17th... 15 days after that is Black Bear on June 1st. I am missing the two weekends in a row in this equation. =)
And the whole old fart excuse... lame! Maybe you can tie the cart you normally attached to your bike around your waste for the long run... that would be impressive! =)
Hey gang - I don't think I can do the race on the 17th. I'm not even sure about Broad Street because I haven't been running long distances at all. Speaking of ...what's going on for tonight's buddy run? Is it on?
If I do a sprint, it'll probably be Hammonton but if everyone is going to Black Bear then I'll reconsider. We'll see. Shannon- shoot me an email about tonight.
I don't know how much conversation about Black Bear has occurred, but Shannon point out that we'll be biking in the mountains. The highest peak is 450 feet. I know that doesn't really make up a mountain, but it will surely feel like it to me. Check out the "profile" of the ride. I signed up yesterday, and couldn't find anyone else who had...
And, will anyone be staying up there? Looks like we should book rooms right now if we are. It's about 87 miles away from center city.
Off to Florida for the weekend for a cousins gettogether. I'm excited - low key, funny, friendly cousins I didn't grow up with so there's no history. Lots of sun, food and drink. Perfect!
