I would love to join you but I already committed to going to a BBQ at my friend Steve's house after the race. It's an annual thing. Hopefully this year he'll win the race. Last year he came in 3rd!
I think a bash after the race is great. Are there grill's there at the finish? Burgers and dogs would be great. The ride was very hard, very hilly and very hot. The Iron girl tri in Vegas is very tempting. It is close to our 28th wedding anniversary so we could make a long weekend. Is any one else considering this race? Beth can we borrow your grill if we need one?
I am definitely considering the Las Vegas race.... I want to see what my Spring class schedule looks like... but can't see why I wouldn't be able to go away for that weekend...
How far is Marlton from Stone Harbor? Anyone game to party on the bay?
I'm trying to convince myself to sign up the day of/assume there will be availability/no shows.
If we swim bike run really hard we can have somemors?
Last weekend's Wildwood Tri was challenging, swim was short with a strong rip tide, bike was kind of crappy with 4 laps / crowded and the run was on the beach - ouch. I past one guy age 50 who looked like he was recovering from open heart surgery and another guy twice,.. because he started walking. I hit the turn around and I thought I was dead last because it felt like all 349 others had pasted me. The way back was into the wind and I swear I was running in place, but in my own mind I was in front of the "non-runners". I was still happy to have done it!

Are any of you running tonight? If you are, I can give you the grill. If not, then I'll just bring it on Saturday.

already ran and swam this morning... actually found another 'athlete' to join Sarah... running with those athletes sure does kick your butt!!
I bought an extra gas canister today at Target... bring on the picnic! =)

We should have arranged to meet so I could give you the grill. It's going to be hard for me to get it there if I'm not taking my car to the race. Chuck, are you or anyone else going to be around this afternoon? I'll be home around 2:30 and I could meet you somewhere to give you the grill.
