I will not spend the next week seeing "Go Giants" in my inbox. I am going to be at the Chestnut Hill Hospital on Wednesday night's TNT info meeting. I know that Shannon is going, but is anyone else? I heard that she is buying the first round!

too cute! and despite the Packers comment (hmmm... could I see your ID which shows you were a resident of Green Bay... HATER!)... I am still SOOO excited about the big win yesterday... I will by the 2nd round on Wednesday too!! =)
I am not a resident of Green Bay, just a non-Giants fan. I did wish that they beat the Cowboys and was quite happy to see TO crying. It is a little bit of happiness in a really bad football season.
Since the beginning of the year, I have started to run again. Last night I ran for 1/2 hr, plus warm up and cool down. It's something...
Does anyone have a suggest for energy bars? I have been using Powerbars and they taste like crap. What are you fueling up with before you workout?
I actually have Oats N Honey granola bars before I work out! Or a clif bar. I haven't done any long runs lately so I really haven't needed to eat anything substantial beforehand. If you're only running for 30 minutes then you probably don't need a Powerbar to do that.
Something good, bad or just something?
I have been trying to workout after work but before dinner. I feel hungry but don't want to eat a meal and then attempt I spin class or try to run. I tried to run on Monday and started to get dizzy after about 20 minutes. I assume that is bad.
Depending on how you do with eating before working out, you should have something small (100 - 200 calories) an hour or two before working out. That'll help you get through it. I work with a girl who can't eat within 3 hours of working out! I'm good as long as there is at least an hour between eating and working out.
I'm like Beth... I typically need only about an hour before a workout... unless it is going to be a long, crazy workout...
dizzy is definitely bad... sounds like a blood sugar/hungry problem... oatmeal, part of a pb&j sandwich or a granola bar all work for me...
There was a nice turnout last night at the TNT meeting and I think there was 6-8 people that signed up. Sorry that I could not stay later, Shannon, but I had babysitter issues that required me to cut my night short.
I was scheduled to be at the Wiss. Public Library next Wednesday but I have to go to a meeting in MA.
It was a good turnout... 8 of the 10 people interested in the triathlon officially signed up last night and two completed paper work and were getting checks to Amy today... that's a great group... Monday 4 people were interested in the triathlon and signed up...
I figured you had a childcare issue... it was much later than I realized... have fun on your exciting trip next week if you go.
