Great swim tonight! Chuck, thanks for hosting! The water temp was fantastic and the food was delicious.

Thanks to those that came out for the swim/eat yesterday. I don't know about you all, but any brick workout that ends with /eat is my kind of workout! It is followed closely by /drink.
It looks like the beginning of the week is going to be HOT again, so I am not sure it makes sense to run in the hottest part of the day (evening). Although I am not a fan of it, I think that the treadmill is what I am going to use today.
Also, I was trying to think of if there is a time to offer an "open water" swim at the Perk for the mentorees. I could do it on Wed, Thurs, Sat or Sun. Is it something I should float out there or should I just let them try to go to Lake W.?
I would think that you should let them go to Wenona b/c of liability reasons. It's not a TNT, USAT, or CGI sanctioned open water swim. I guess I trust us, but I don't trust a bunch of mentees if this is their first time in open water (panic attacks, etc).
i agree with Beth.... Todd is also having his Lake Nox clinic on Sunday... another option for people.
Last night was GREAT Chuck and crew... many thanx... living with no AC these hot days has not been easy... coming home post bike race with no perk swim would have been miserable.
OK - I'm still working on the picture...now I have HALF of Chuck. Woohoo!!

This morning I have to go to Maggie's school for a poetry share (?) for her kindergarten class. All I know is it involved her wearing red, white and blue and having a jump rope.
I am volunteering to help in the transition area for the sprint race and then going to package pickup afterwards.
Hmmm... I actually meant your wife, sister, brother-in-law etc... not to slight the good people who work at Costco, but I didn't give them much thought originally... kinda feel bad now! =)
We definitely need to know what role the jump rope played in this morning's performance...
I am not sure what is worse... trying to pack/clean to move in this weather or qualitatively & quantitatively coding Head Start homework assignments... PAINFUL!!

Don't take offense. I've already spent over an hour trying to figure out why that one picture won't work. I even cropped it so that there's an inch to your right of the background but you still get cut off. I am about to email the blogger people to find out why my pictures get cropped only on the right side! Seriously -it's 1/3 of the photo!
