Maggie's Poetry Share

Here is the video from Maggie's Poetry Share. I know that this has nothing to do with triathletes, training, nutrition or swim goggles....I believe that due to safety reasons or that they did not want to upset the snack table, they did not actually jump rope.

Oh, I forgot to add this little fact too. What you see is the entire portion of the poetry share that Maggie was involved with. 20 seconds. Followed by 1/2 hour of snack time. I really wish that I could go back to kindergarten.

Never mess with snack... never

I wish I had meetings like that!

Boy, that brought back memories. And never feel like you have to capture the image of all the kids - I saw you try to pick up that boy on the right. All of your videos will be the Maggie or Lizzie show, and that's the way it should be.

Red white and blue
Tapping on a shoe
Red white and black
Tappin on your back

is that right?

Hey Chuck cute video. Michelle is right all of your video's should be the Maggie and Lizzie show. 20 seconds of poetry and 1/2 hour of snacks sounds like a good deal. Have a good week training everyone

Hey gang Our official Black Bear photo's are up on the web site. Some good, some not so good. Chuck only two of you and I;m not even sure the second one is you but take a look and let me know. If any one finds any good photo's in the Lost and FOund pictures let me know, Beth there is a running one of you where your pony tail is swinging that is so cute. Great pictures crossing the Covered Bridge

Unfortunately, both of those pictures are of me. The one taken right after my exit of the water accurately portrays how I was feeling at the time.

Michelle, it is the red, white and blue poem.

Chuck, found another running one of you under the race drop down, real nice photo. Are you planning on an open water swim this week and or weekend? I know there is a swim at Nockamixon but at $40 a pop that's expensive. If you are doing one or both we are interested, Would like some more practice.

The thundergust tri. is Saturday, but I was planning on doing another open water swim on Sunday... as of now at Nockamixon... saving the $ or paying the Lizzie and Maggie college fund would be better! =)

I believe that we can do a swim/bike on Saturday morning. I will run it past the general and will confirm later.

Bernadette-I did not find the 3rd picture. Can you give me the picture # or how you found it?

If anyone is up for a run/ride on Sunday... let me know. I probably will do one of them after Todd's swim on Sunday.

Chuck - I believe we have a final TNT swim practice at St Joe's on Saturday morning. Did you mean Saturday after the practice or Sunday???

Chuck W. said...

I know that there is a final TNT practice on Saturday but I think that for myself, I would benefit more by going for a long open water swim than a pool swim. I figured that I would go swim, jump on the bike and ride up to the trail for about an hour and then run for about 20 minutes in the development at the top of the hill. I would like to jump in around 8am so that I could use the wetsuit without overheating.

Let me find out what the plan is for Sunday. It looks like it would probably be a "Perk" day, but I want to make sure that the girls don't have something else planned. If that is the case, we will probably be up there from lunch to after dinner. If you want usage of the Perk, I am sure that my sister and her family would welcome you all.

You know, looking at our group photo, Shannon is absolutely correct: it is better to stand a little bit sideways.

In last year's photo Beth is almost out of the picture. I guess we should take turns standing on the right side...

Beth said...

And taking an off-center picture so no one is on the right side!

I'm up for something on Sunday. If we don't make it to the perk, then I'll be swimming at the gym...maybe biking from Conshy to Bala thru Gladwyne (to practice hills) and then run around my hilly neighborhood. Fun stuff!

I knew that countless hours of reading trash magazines would pay off... stand a bit sideways... the stars all do it... apparently makes you look the best... I love solving life's little mysteries!! =)

I would love a ride/run followed by a swim on Sunday... last 'big practice' before the event... can't believe it is Thursday already...

Chuck, picture # is 36560-193-020.I agree about the open water swim need some practice for the Schulykill. Let us know what your plans are. Does your invitation on Sunday extend to our four sons? I would bring food, snacks etc. A swim and a picnic would be a great way to celebrate father's day. I liked the one coming out of the water, call it man who overcame the elements.

I don't know why I waited so long - just saw Chuck's swim exit photo. I'm laughing out loud in my office, so hard that tears are in my eyes!

And what is it that reminds me of some girls whose legs hurt so badly from walking down Black Rd that i had to massage them....
